It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of firefighter Jay Moyer of the Reliance Hose Company, Middleburg PA. Jay passed away suddenly at age 57, at 4:12 pm Monday September 17, 2012, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg due to a ruptured aneurysm. Jay leaves behind a wife Cheryl and 2 daughters, Kristen and Heidi. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 20th from 6pm-8pm at at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill st., Middleburg. The funeral will be held at the same location at 2pm Friday, September 21st. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg. Contributions in honor of Jay's memory may be made to the Reliance Hose Company, 240 E. Main st., Middleburg, PA 17842. Please keep Jay's family in your prayers.
